Fondation Maeght, Saint-Paul-de-Vence

A unique blend of art and nature, featuring works by Miró and Giacometti, with highlights like the Giacometti courtyard and Miró labyrinth.
Fondation Maeght at Saint-Paul-de-Vence has been an important centre for modern and contemporary art since it opened in 1964. Set among pine trees and sculpture gardens, it brings together works by Miró, Chagall, Giacometti and many others in a setting that deliberately blurs the boundary between gallery and landscape. The Giacometti courtyard and Miró labyrinth are particular highlights. The foundation remains as much a place of encounter as of display.
