Paris

Paris manages to feel both grand and intimate, with broad boulevards, markets, museums and neighbourhood streets all lying within a relatively compact area. Monuments and galleries are part of its appeal, but so too are brasseries, small shops and the rhythm of daily life on the Left and Right Banks. The city’s range of restaurants is reason enough to return often. Few places allow such different visits to unfold so naturally.
