ZAMORA

A charming city on the Via de la Plata, renowned for its Holy Week processions, a Semana Santa museum, a 12th-century cathedral, and a historic Parador.

Zamora is a handsome city on the old Via de la Plata, set along the Duero and especially known for its Holy Week processions, which draw visitors from across Spain. Our visit includes the Museo de la Semana Santa, the Plaza Mayor and the 12th-century cathedral, with lunch at the Parador in the former palace of the Counts of Alba y Aliste.
