Peggy Guggenheim Collection

Explore 20th-century art by Picasso, Pollock, and Dalí in a historic canal-side palazzo with a charming sculpture garden.
The Peggy Guggenheim Collection occupies the unfinished Palazzo Venier dei Leoni on the Grand Canal, once the home of Peggy Guggenheim herself. The museum presents her collection of 20th-century art, with major works by Picasso, Pollock, Dalí and many others. A sculpture garden adds another dimension to the visit and preserves something of the domestic scale of the original residence. It remains one of the most engaging introductions to modern art in Italy.
